Vale Garden Houses success has resulted in the need to build a new office extension and car park.
Since the start of 2016, Vale has recruited 20% more staff and space was getting a bit tight in certain areas. We weren’t quite bursting at the seams but logistically the new extension made sense and it also helped to alleviate the pressure in other areas.
A new two storey office extension accommodates 13 members of staff with their own meeting room and kitchen facilities. The top floor of the new extension houses our HR, H&S and buying personnel. The lower floor is for our site and building division which is ideally placed as this extension links to Vale’s main manufacturing area.
Alongside this extension, Vale needed to cater for a larger volume of vehicles; an unused part of our land was perfect for this. The new car park runs parallel to Belton Golf Club and now that their perimeter trees have matured, we are hoping the odd rogue shot by the golfers should not reach the parked vehicles.
