Vale Garden Houses Designer

Each and every one of our conservatories and orangeries is unique, designed to fulfil your requirement for living, whilst providing a design brief that will compliment your home. It’s a fine balance in designing a structure appropriate in terms of style and size, yet at the same time taking on board your personal preferences and ideas. The designers understand what an important decision this project will be and know from experience that your new room will become the focal point for you and your family all year round.

All our designers have been working with us for many years, each having a wealth of knowledge of all periods of architecture, some with specialist knowledge, having collaborated with architectural societies on sensitive projects, and others working with architectural styles overseas. Working closely with our technical team, each designer understands the complexities of our builds and will consider this in the early stages of design. Thinking ahead on where the room is to be positioned, how a room will be used and layout of furniture, will help you gain the very most out of your new room.

Vale are proud to have on-going, professional relationships with many architects and practices throughout the UK. They regularly return to us, confident and assured that their clients will obtain the best product and service available throughout the process of designing and building a conservatory, orangery or rooflight at their home.

This close relationship is also essential if your architect is working with us for the first time. We work hard to ensure that all elements of the design are carefully considered, with each professional offering advice and assistance to find practical and well thought out solutions. This is especially important when complicated planning applications and listed building consents are required which incorporate other elements of building within the overall scheme.

Steering your way through the forms and submissions for obtaining Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent can be quite daunting, and the changing requirements from one local authority to the next, can further complicate the process.

We have a dedicated department here that have been working on behalf of our clients for over 20 years. Having come across almost every local authority across the UK and every sensitive situation, there isn’t much that we haven’t experienced or had to work our way through.

Many of our projects will also require SAP calcs, Structural calcs, and frequently Building Control approval if the overall scheme requires it. We take all this in our stride and aim to make the whole process as seamless as possible.

Following approvals your project moves through to our technical department where a dedicated technician will be assigned to your project. They will work with you and the designer to complete a detailed set of drawings to cover every aspect of the build.

We prepare dedicated packs for the builder, electrician and decorator which contain all the detailed working drawings required to carry out the preparatory work to accept the conservatory, electrics etc.

Once the project is issued into production the file is transferred to the Site Office which will become your new point of contact. The Drawing Office will keep in regular contact with Production and Site Office throughout the manufacturing and installation phases.
