Vale were the pioneers of a unique roof system that combines a structural metal core, an external decorative low-maintenance cap and finished internally with decorative timber mouldings and trims. This attractive system allows for very fine glazing rafters yet provides exceptional strength and long-term stability that easily copes with high winds and heavy snow loads.
Beyond its technical advantages, this hybrid system offers exceptional design flexibility in a glazed garden room or roof lantern structure and can be bent for curved glazed roofs. Looking for a glazed roof that will stand the test of time, the Vale system will enhance both the visual appeal and value of any property.
Project Spotlight: Second Project for a Norfolk Home
Following the success of a previously completed classical orangery in 2016, we returned to our client and their beautiful Norfolk period property to work on their new kitchen and utility room project. The old lean-to structure housing the kitchen was draughty and outdated, offering little comfort or visual appeal.
A large roof lantern was positioned above the kitchen island to bring in abundant natural light, creating a bright and welcoming space. To ensure harmony between the two extensions, the fanlight detail above the doors on the orangery was thoughtfully replicated into the kitchen doors.
We have just taken delivery of our latest Fourteenth Edition brochure. It brings together over forty years of design excellence and expert craftsmanship into a beautifully presented resource of 120 pages.
