A multi-layered project combining a bespoke orangery, Architectural Bronze Casements and utilising our interiors service creates a truly exceptional living space in this Leeds suburban home.
This family home in the leafy suburbs of Leeds, whilst generous in size with many formal rooms, was missing a bright and airy multifunctional space. The owners wished for garden room for all-day use and a stylish feature to the north elevation of the property.
They also required a means of connecting the formal living room with the family kitchen, the main rooms used in the home.
Our designer made every effort to flawlessly marry up this orangery with the original house; leadlights to the top of the four-pane windows and a brick base mirror the lead design and brickwork on the existing structure.
Inside the room, two bronze screens replace old timber doors and panels. They add a touch of contemporary detail and allow light from the bright and airy garden room to stream into adjacent rooms.
These casements work beautifully with the bronze lighting that punctuates the space, from the stunning matching chandelier and wall lights to the quirky standard floor lamp.
Our interior designer worked closely with our client to provide stylish solutions, making the very best use of space for relaxing and dining. We work in collaboration with our partners in Italy providing hand carved and hand painted pieces of furniture that make the space truly unique.
We are able to supply some beautiful sofas and chairs such as the Imperia suite above right, an Italian carved frame with a painted and antiqued finish from Vales Period Paint Collection. We also worked closely with many well respected suppliers in the UK and Europe to coordinate the look in the room.
The classical detail in the conservatory contrasts beautifully with the rich lustre of Bronze seen within the room. The whole project exudes luxury and quality at every turn, a tribute to our client’s excellent taste and discerning eye.
